Spring Key Fob Activation Sign up Genius

Dear Residents of Legacy Park,
 
As promised, residents who missed the first key fob checkup last year can sign up for our second and last opportunity.  You must attend this session if you missed the first opportunity to have your fob in time for our 2021 pool season. Anyone who misses this session may have up to a two-week wait to have your fob checked and reactivated.

In case you missed the original email, the Board of Directors takes liability of the homeowners’ association very seriously. Over time the accuracy of which household possesses which fob(s) is no longer documented accurately for everyone. This can pose serious liability for the HOA and security concerns for our Community Watch Committee (CWC) and our security company. 

The Board in conjunction with the Community Watch Committee has decided to audit the fobs to ensure each homeowner possess the fob(s) assigned to their household. Last year an email was sent out communicating all fob(s) have been deactivated. Deactivating the fobs will allow for us to check each individual fob to ensure each one is properly assigned to the correct household. This is a large project and has taken many hours so far with only about half the community attending the first session. We will NOT be holding a fob session at the annual meeting. 

The Board and CWC will work together to verify fob(s) or establish a plan to issue new fobs so every household possesses an appropriately assigned fob. To make this possible, there has been a Sign up Genius established for each household to choose a specific time frame to have your fob(s) checked. Please chose a time block which works with your schedule as day and evening slots are available. Due to time constraints if your fob is not registered to your household, there will be a request submitted to Braesael to issue new fob(s) to your household. 

Keep in mind this will be the last time we can guarantee your fob will be activated before the pool opens. This is a major project that involves many moving pieces with Braesael, our security system software and security company. Any fob that is not verified during the audit will remain shut off until a verification is completed. 

Please visit the Signup Genius link here to pick a time convenient for you. Please provide the documentation to prove residency at the time of your visit. Homeowners should simply bring your state issued identification showing your Legacy Park address. If you are a new homeowner who hasn’t updated your identification, please bring the closing statement (HUD-1) from your home purchase to establish proof of ownership. If you are a renter, please bring a copy of your lease to establish verification of occupancy. Face masks will be required upon entry into the building. 
 
Please only sign up  if you have currently possess deactivated fobs and be sure to use the email on file or the email you received the original signup genius email from when signing up for your fob reactivation.  The link has also been provided additionally below for you to copy into your browser.

Legacy Park Homeowners Association Annual Meeting
 
Date: March 23, 2021
Time: 7:00 pm
Location: Legacy Park Rec Center
 
In accordance with DHEC and CDC guidelines, the following measures will be enforced to ensure the safety of residents in attendance:
       face masks required upon entry
       chairs will be spaced 6 feet apart to comply with social distancing guidelines
       facility will be sanitized by outside cleaning service prior to and following meeting 
       security will be onsite to monitor building capacity limits
 
Please note that Braesael will be sending additional information (agenda, financial reports, voting proxies, etc.) by mail to all homeowners in advance of the March 23 meeting.

This message serves as a reminder that residents still have an opportunity reactivate and verify fob(s) ahead of the upcoming 2021 season. 
 
Over 50% of the fobs verified so far this week were not in good order with either the wrong name, wrong address, or wrong fob assigned to the household. To ensure that fobs assigned to your household are in good order and verified, we strongly encourage those who have not already done so to use the SignUp Genius link below to choose a specific time frame to have your fob(s) checked. If there are no open time slots available at your preferred time, residents are welcome to drop by and wait in line to have your fob(s) reactivated.
