Our neighborhood has been very fortunate to have very few occasions of crimes against persons or property.  However, two cars were recently broken into. One on Arrow Lake, with the loss of a woman's purse and the second on Indian Hills Lane where windows were broken to get to a LCD television which was left in the car.

 

As a reminder from the Sheriff's Department:  Do not leave ANYTHING of value in your car when it is unattended.  Thieves will generally not break into a car if there is nothing of value to take.  This includes purses, briefcases, laptops, GPS systems and garage door openers.  If you must leave something of value in your car, please put the item in the trunk.
